I forged this hairpin from 3/8” bar. After forging the leaf, I hammered down the business end of the pin to a taper that is under 1/4” at its thickest at the leaf, so it’s not terribly heavy and should work for most long hair. I gave it decorative twists all the way down, which looks nice but also helps keep it in your hair! Each on of these is literally hand forged, so each one is a little different. The one you receive may be different than the one pictured.
